2011 Accomplishments

You will be pleased to note that through the due diligence on part of your Board during the past year, we have made a lot of progress on several items. Below is a summary of what we have accomplished.
- Sending quarterly newsletters to keep the community apprised of current events
- Clubhouse improvements - new recumbent bike, treadmills, LED TVs
- Installation and configuration of surveillance cameras
- Landscaping improvements – new trees, shrubs, flowers
- Irrigation – new zones with sprinklers
- Pump station maintenance / improvements – new pump to be installed soon
- Working collaboratively with Board, Property Management and vendors, motivating everyone to put in their best, while maintaining decorum.
- Contributing cost saving ideas to improve the community -
- Implementation of a wireless monitoring system that is saving the community several thousand dollars annually
- Aggressive contract negotiation. The following contracts now cost the community lesser and / or include additional services:
- Snow Removal, Trash Removal, Property Management, Landscaping, Irrigation, Pond, Swimming Pool, Cleaning Service, Handyman, monitoring services
- Implemented VOIP phones and fax lines
- Attempting to settle the Builder Transition. This seems like a never ending task and you will see an update in a forthcoming newsletter
- HOA Website maintenance
- Soliciting feedback from community, vendors & board
- Encouraging home owner interaction by sponsoring events such as the Halloween parade
- Municipal reimbursement

Congratulations. It is a great thing that you built a team and working on the home owner’s issues. I’m sure your team could do a lot of good things to this community.

I’m glad that the board of directors finally pulled through for this community by making smart decisions with regards to services that can be obtained at a lower cost to the home owner!

Good that this board is doing something for the community.
I would appreciate if you would concentrate on improving the community life style with the savings instead of reducing the monthly fee. Which will give a good value to the community.

1. Play Ground improvement
2. Speed Bumps
3. Frequent power washing
4. Landscaping etc.,
